Diary of a Fat White Woman

I haven’t updated in a while cause May 20th my dad went into hospital and passed away May 24th. Things have been a bit hectic but I do have stuff to update you on. I will do so in the next few days hopefully.

Oops sorry I haven’t posted for a week. Been busy with work.

Anyway, January 4th I went to see the obesity doctor and told him I had decided on the surgery. He was happy. He said it’s the only thing that will work for me. So he dictated a letter to my family doctor (not the referring doctor - whoohoo!) explaining how to fill out the OHIP pre approval application and the wording to use to ensure they know it’s urgent I get this surgery within the next six months. Unfortunately my doctor won’t get this letter for about 4 weeks!! I asked for a copy too so I’ll know what it says and approximately when my doctor will get it.

Then I go see my doctor (or at least her replacement) and discuss this and get the application filled out. Once I get approval my doctor then refers me to the clinic in the US and we’ll see what happens then. So really not much will happen in the next month.

I did gain a bit more and Monday the 8th I was 437. I’m pms’ing again though which is never good.

Just wanted to let you know that I have been working on a new web project that I am very excited about. It is an online magazine written by and geared to SSBBWs. I’m currently recruiting writers and editors and have someone doing some artwork for me.

This is all new to me and alot of work, especially since I am webmaster, editor, writer, etc. right now. But I think it has alot of potential!!
